A textile dehairing agent is a chemical additive specifically designed to remove hair from textile surfaces. It's commonly used on natural fibers like wool, cashmere, and rabbit hair, effectively removing excess hair from the fabric surface and enhancing its softness, feel, and appearance. This product not only ensures a smooth and clean surface but also protects the fibers and extends the fabric's lifespan. It's suitable for a variety of dyeing and finishing processes.

This product is suitable for a pH range of 5 - 7. The optimal pH is 6.0 - 6.5

Performance Characteristics

1. The application temperature can range from 30°C to 65°C, with the optimal action temperature being 55°C.

2. Gentle and Non-Abrasive: Its mild formula does not damage the fiber structure or affect the color of the fabric. After use, textiles will not experience fiber breakage or damage, ensuring long-term use.

3. Fabrics treated with a textile dehairing agent have a smoother, more uniform surface, improving fiber absorbency. This improves moisture absorption, particularly for natural fibers like wool and cashmere, resulting in improved comfort. Furthermore, dehairing agents can moderately improve the fabric's antistatic properties, reducing static buildup and preventing discomfort during wear and use, thereby enhancing fabric care and durability.

4. It has excellent water and dry cleaning resistance, ensuring that the fabric retains its depilatory effect and smooth surface after repeated washing. During dry cleaning, the fabric's appearance and feel remain optimal, making it suitable for high-end fabric cleaning and maintenance.

Application Scope

The wide applicability of the textile dehairing agent makes it an ideal choice for treating a variety of textiles, particularly natural and recycled fiber fabrics. It is widely used on cotton, cotton/polyester blends, linen, and ramie fabrics, denim, and recycled fiber fabrics like Tencel and Modal.
For cotton fabrics, it effectively removes unwanted hair from the surface of cotton fibers, improving the fabric's softness and surface smoothness, enhancing the product's comfort and appearance. 

Cotton/polyester blended fabrics can be treated with dehairing agents to achieve a more uniform surface finish, improving dyeing results and ensuring vibrant and stable colors.
Dehairing agents are also widely used on linen and ramie fabrics. The dehairing process improves moisture absorption and wear comfort, preventing any roughness.
For denim, dehairing agents effectively remove excess fibers from the surface, ensuring a soft, durable feel suitable for everyday wear.
Recycled fiber fabrics such as Tencel and Modal, due to their finer fiber properties, can be treated with dehairing agents to achieve a smoother surface and enhance the overall texture of the fabric.

Usage Method

The following guide is based on conventional processes and production conditions. Due to variations in local water quality and the type of fabric used, the actual usage may vary. Users are advised to conduct experiments to determine the appropriate dosage and conditions to adapt to the user's proposed process and application.

Recommended process conditions:

Typical bioluminescence method conditions are as follows:

Equipment: Spray dyeing machine/high-speed, rope dyeing machine/industrial washing machine

Equipment loading volume/rotation speed: Consistent with dyeing conditions

Enzyme dosage: 0.5 - 2.0% (based on fabric weight)

Bath ratio: 5:1 - 20:1, depending on equipment type

Processing time: 30 - 60 minutes

Processing temperature: 35 - 60℃

pH range: 5.5 - 7 

Inactivation:

By adding anhydrous sodium carbonate, raise the pH value to 10, heat to 70°C and maintain for 10 minutes.

If washed together with dyeing, the active dye can be inactivated by adding alkali for fixation.

Storage and Transportation

1. Neutral cellulase is (30 kilograms per barrel)

2. Storage conditions

Store at low temperature (4°C) for no less than 6 months without losing its labeled enzyme activity. Store at room temperature (25°C) for no more than 3 months, and its activity should not be lower than the labeled enzyme activity. Avoid long-term storage at 30°C or above. Prevent direct sunlight exposure. It is advisable to store it in a low-temperature and dry place. Long-term storage or under other harmful conditions, including higher temperatures, may lead to an increase in the product dosage.
